Port Football and Community Sporting Club

Port Football Club in Port Pirie is a historied club with deep community involvement, supporting numerous sports and activities at their facilities.
GenBizTek was first engaged to modernise the club’s office systems and infrastructure. This included upgrading hardware, network, WiFi, and security systems, as well as improving audio-visual capability across the venue. We also implemented a site-wide wireless network that covers the entire block, rationalised their OneDrive and NAS setup, and transitioned the club to a VOIP phone system to reduce ongoing costs. A new LED scoreboard was also installed and configured to enhance both match-day operations and the spectator experience.
In addition to infrastructure, we refreshed the club’s digital presence by replacing their outdated Joomla website with a new WordPress site. The new site is largely self-managed by the club, with GenBizTek providing assistance as needed. Features include an informative homepage, downloadable membership forms, a sponsors page, and a growing archive of club history and content.
